CCS can help you develop strategies to spur innovation, create an agile organization and align strategies between divisions.

Aligning Strategy

Challenge:
IT organization, services and technology do not align properly with business goals and needs.

Solution:
Implemented a top-down business strategic planning process to support a division of 9,000 employees.  Strategy included core strategic "themes" which were associated to divisional objectives and goals.  Each department developed strategic plan goals and objectives to align with the division plan.  All plans were reviewed by the C-level executive team.

Implemented a strategic technology planning process to integrate with business planning processes.  Implemented a software application portfolio management process, technology and application roadmaps and tied them to business planning and governance processes.

Agility and Efficiency

Challenge:
The business is having difficulty in finding skilled talent at appropriate cost levels.

Solution:
Developed and implemented a global sourcing strategy that mapped business needs with available and cost-effective resources in US and offshore locations.

Developed methods to manage teams across time zones, geographies and cultures through the use of culture programs, a 360 degree communication plan, and collaboration technologies

Challenge:
The business has overlapping functions, inefficient processes and unclear priorities.

Solution:
Implemented a prioritization process and management tools to provide effective executive management oversight and allow appropriate delegation of decision-making.

Used six-sigma ering techniques to map business processes and analyze costs and redundancies.  Re-designed processes, organization structure and roles to support improved efficiencies.

Innovation and Creativity

Challenge:
The business wants to be able to plug and play new products and quickly implement variations of current products, but the systems and business processes don't support short cycle times.

Solution:
Established a framework for quick cycle product development with a SWAT team approach.  Created teams that came together for the product design, software development and business process design, then disbanded as the new product was incorporated into the established business processes.

Challenge:
Teams across the company need to work together to develop enterprise systems solutions.

Solution:
Utilized wiki's and portals to bring together work products and support collaboration between team members located around the world.

Defined communication protocols, rules of engagement and rewards to instill a collaboration and sharing culture.
